Jungala Festival 2016

We welcome you back onto the forest floor, to reunite in ritual. You are the chosen ones.

*** All details are available on http://www.jungala.co.za ***

The universe is a song and Life is its dance,
Every atom in constant rhythmic motion.
Mankind however, resonates at its own frequency,
Dictated by the ticking of the clock, lost in the chaos…

But the music calls to him once more…

The tribe who has forgotten its roots is awakened by the chanting,
An ancient calling, a desire to return to the Jungle.
To be moved by the sound of cosmos,
and tune in to the great unknown.

The beat goes on..

Now listen closely as you hear the music drifting though the trees,
As the mystical melody draws you closer.
Once again it is time for the tribe to gather,
To dance, discover & embrace the magic that is Jungala.

RESPECT OUR VENUE . . . //

. . . Keep it clean . . .
At the gate each car will be given a dustbin bag, please keep it on your camp site and throw all your waste away. There are bins allocated all over the venue. LEAVE NO TRACE is more than just a fun concept.. it is so much more enjoyable to dance and enjoy the venue when you have taken the time to assist in keeping it beautiful. There are cleaners on site for the duration of the event, but thousands of cigarette stompies are not easily removed. Help, be kind, assist, make an effort to maintain our beautiful venue. This kind of attitude is contagious.

THINKING GREEN . . . //

. . . CAR POOL . . .
Carpooling is a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way to travel as sharing journeys reduces carbon emissions, traffic congestion and the need for parking spaces. By having more people using one vehicle, carpooling reduces each person’s travel costs such as fuel costs and the stress of driving. The more the merrier.. but only one person per seat belt!

. . . GIVING BACK . . .
Please bring tinned food, old clothes, blankets, toys or anything you think is fit to donate. We will be accepting all donations at the gate and giving back to the Saron community police trauma unit.
Over the past few years PsynOpticz Productions and Jungala Festival have proudly donated food, pillows, blankets, baby food, baby clothes and baby blankets, nappies, baby toys and much more to accommodate all the trauma victims of the area. This initiative setup by the Saron Police is called the Thula Thula Room.

We also have a new initiative this year, we will be donating to Soil for Life. Soil for Life is a Cape Town-based non-profit organization teaching people how to build the soil and grow healthy plants. They strive to help people reconnect with the earth and to realize their potential for healthy, productive and fulfilling lives. They are changing people from the inside out. Visit http://www.soilforlife.co.za for more info.
